We are fortunate in Ballybofey to be home to The Balor Theatre, which is situated on Main Street, Ballybofey. The Theatre is Donegal’s oldest theatrical venue steeped in tradition. The Balor offers a splendid intimate theatre with a reputation for hosting top quality Drama, Music and Comedy. He was the “Father of Irish Home Rule” and the local Library is well stocked with local history and stories. Only a 20 minute drive from Ballybofey in the direction of Glenties will take you to the Isaac Butt Heritage Center, which is crammed with local History and information.
